Overall Responsibility for the Planning and Organisation of the Conventional activities (Polish IRC)
Wroclaw Centre for Technology Transfer (WCTT) is a unit of Wroclaw University of Technology (PWR) assigned to realisation advisory and supporting projects for SMEs and RTD institutions. WCTT was created in March 1996 as a result of the TEMPUS Project S-JEP 07017 entitled "Bridging the gap between University and Industry".
The mission of WCTT is to bridge the gap between research and industry, strengthening innovative potential of Polish industry, and supporting Polish scientist and SMEs in participating in European Research Area.
WCTT is functioning in the Lower Silesia region, having access to innovative SMEs through the IRC West-Poland network, coordinating participation of researchers and SMEs in the 6th Framework Programme. As Regional Contact Point, provides information of the participants of former framework programmes, who are experts exploiting the regional potential. WCTT is supporting the region in developing clustering and implementing Regional Innovation Strategy.
