PLATON was funded by the EC under ‘FP6-Research and Innovation’ from October 2005 to December 2007. The consortium has successfully implemented and completed its activities by over-exceeding virtually all of its targets. PLATON has been a pioneering project; the first ever action that targeted to enhance the participation of SMEs and SME groupings in the European socio-economic research. During the project implementation PLATON partners have acquired valuable experience and have identified good practices. Most of them have been documented in the project reports which are available to any interested party through the project website. The final review report will be published within February 2008.
